About Daily 4
Daily 4 is one of the Lone Star State’s favorite lottery games run by the Texas Lottery. Draws take place Monday through Saturday and each day gives you four chances to win. There are five play types from which you can choose and a $5,000 grand prize for a $1 wager.

Daily 4 Overview
The Texas Lottery launched Daily 4 in 2007, with the first draw happening on October 1 2007. At that time, drawings took place only two times a day. In September 2013, the number of drawings per day doubled, reaching its current format which has four draws: Morning, Day, Evening and Night.
In April 2019, the extra option previously known as Sum It Up! was replaced with the Fireball feature. This new option would give the players more opportunities to get winning combinations and to increase their chances of winning. The Fireball feature adds an extra number which is randomly drawn after the main draw takes place.
With the main game, you get five different play styles and multiple prize categories. The prize amounts depend on how much you wager: $0.50 or $1.
Draws take place six days a week, Monday through Saturday. Every drawing day has four draws:
- Morning - 10:00 AM CT
- Day - 12:27 PM CT
- Evening - 6:00 PM CT
- Night - 10:12 PM CT
