When do Pick 3 drawings take place? +

Pick 3 has four draws daily, six days a week, from Monday to Saturday:
Morning - 10:00 AM CT
Day- 12:27 PM CT
Evening - 6:00 PM CT
Night - 10:12 PM CT

How can I play Pick 3? +

You can enter Pick 3 by visiting a Texas Lottery retailer. In order to enter, you need to select three single-digit numbers between 0 and 9. There are four different play types and two wager amounts from which you can choose.Explore the Pick 3 rules on the How to Play page.

What time do ticket sales close? +

Ticket sales are closed at the following times for each of the four draws:
Morning - from 9:50 AM to 10:03 AM CT
Day - from 12:17 PM to 12:30 PM CT
Evening - from 5:50 PM to 6:03 PM CT
Night - from 10:02 PM to 10:15 PM CT

How much does a ticket cost? +

You can wager $0.50 or $1 for the main game. Playing the Fireball option will double the cost of each Pick 3 board played.

Can I play Pick 3 in advance? +

Yes, you are able to play Pick 3 in advance. Mark the "Multi-Draw" box and you can enter up to 24 consecutive drawings.

What is the Fireball option? +

You can add the Fireball option to your main game ticket if you want more opportunities to win. The Fireball number is randomly drawn shortly after the main draw and it is a single-digit number from 0 to 9. It can replace any of the three main numbers drawn to create more winning combinations. Mark "Yes" in the box on your payslip if you want to add Fireball. Keep in mind that adding this option doubles the cost of your Pick 3 play.

What is the jackpot offered? +

Pick 3 has a fixed $500 grand prize for a $1 Exact Order wager.

What are the odds of winning a prize? +

The odds of winning a Pick 3 prize depend on the play type you select, and also the combination of numbers you pick. Check out the Odds and Prizes page to explore the exact odds of winning.

How can I claim a prize I won? +

After making sure you have a valid winning ticket, you should claim your prize within 180 days from the draw date. You can claim your prize by mail* or you can take your signed ticket to an authorized Texas Lottery retailer.
