How to Play Texas Two Step

Entering the Texas Two Step lottery game is easy and can be done in a couple of ways. You can either visit a Texas Lottery retailer or order tickets online. If online is your go-to-option, you can visit our Tickets page.

In order to enter Texas Two Step, you must select four numbers between 1 and 35, plus one Bonus Ball number from 1 to 35.

If you’re not set on a selection of numbers, you can mark the “QP” box and the terminal will generate five random numbers which you can use for your entry. Alternatively, just ask your lottery retailer for a “Quick Pick” ticket. When ordering tickets online, you have the option of using the Texas Two Step number generator, a tool which will give you a random set of numbers in a matter of seconds.

The price of a Texas Two Step lottery ticket is $1 per play.

Texas Two Step drawings happen twice a week, on Monday and Thursday evenings at 10:12 PM CT. There is a break in sales from 10:02 PM until 10:15 PM

Multi-Draw Option

If you want to make sure you’re not missing a future draw, you can enter the same set of numbers in more than one drawing. Simply mark the “Multi-Draw” box to play up to 10 consecutive drawings.

Prize Payments

According to the Texas Lottery, all Texas Two Step prizes, including the jackpot, are paid in a single payment.

The first five prize tiers are pari-mutuel, meaning that the total prize allocation is divided equally among multiple winners. Prize amounts may vary.

Please keep in mind that the advertised Texas Two Step jackpot amount is not always a guaranteed amount as it’s just an estimate.
